Art & Design and Creative Media Production students showcased their work in the college’s annual Creative Arts Exhibition at Ealing Green College last week. The event brought together work from across the curriculum area, spanning Entry Level to Level 3 courses, and once again proved to be a vibrant celebration of student creativity.
The exhibition saw an extraordinary range of skills and disciplines. Art & Design students presented pieces in painting, drawing, graphic design, product and game design, sculpture, fashion design, puppet-making and architectural model-making. Meanwhile, Creative Media Production learners contributed an impressive selection of documentaries, dramas, music videos and both traditional and digital animation.
The event drew in over 100 visitors, including current and former students, families, friends and staff from across 91桃色. Guests were full of praise for the quality and variety of the work on display, as well as the commitment and guidance provided by the teaching staff throughout the academic year.
Keisha, studying Introduction to Art and Media, displayed her interactive art designs, whilst Roland from Level 1 displayed his animation drawings, and Pearl, from Level 2, displayed head pieces.
Reflecting on the event, Gareth McLennan, Head of Curriculum for IT, Digital and Creative, said, 鈥淚t鈥檚 always such a pleasure to see the hard work of our learners come to life at this event. The exhibition is a true testament not only to their creativity and determination, but also to the dedication of the teaching team in helping students prepare for further study and future careers in the creative industries.鈥
The exhibition remains a highlight in the college calendar, shining a spotlight on the imagination, talent and aspirations of our students and the outstanding support they receive throughout their learning journey.
